Yes, any CMI (C-Media) 8738 updated driver will work. You can use the one from the Soyo site. Soyo had that very same codec on thier older Soyo KT266A-KT333 motherboard and it's the most recent driver (6.44) that's available. I have verified that the driver work on both CMI 8738 stand alone PCI cards with the CMI 8738 chipset or ony motherboard with the c-media 8738 chipset. Just be sure to pick the right operating system.
