Front Panel Audio into sound card.
I was wondering is there any way to connect the front panel audio into a sound card? I have the Sound Blaster live 5.1 digital. Can I take advantage of the sound card and front panel audio at the same time? Or do I have to just stick with the onboard sound only? I can't find my manual, and the internet is on help.

try here and here are the drivers
you will need to disable the onboard sound in your bios, and possibly move a jumper on your motherboard, please check your motherboard manual. post back Last edited by whodat; 10-10-2005 at 05:11 AM. |

Well I don't have a 5.1 system, I have a Phillips Fw-C777 connected to it. And I couldn't find on that microsoft site how to connect front panel audio to a soundcard. And I already have those drivers, sorry. There are a pins on the card that look similar to those on the mobo. And the manual for mobo says nothing about connecting fp audio into the s.c , and I can't find my sound card manual.
