Lifebook C1010 SPDIF Digital Audio Out - How do I configure ?
Had my C1010 Lifebook for about 4-5 years now and have never managed to get the SPDIF port to work. In fact I dont even know where to find anything to control it. I have an optical cable that I successfully record audio from a conventional DVD player (under TV) to my Sony MD.
I would like to be able to play music on my laptop and capture it from the SPDIF port to my MD. Whenever there is power on my C1010 there is red light emitting from the SPDIF port. However, if you connect the MD with the optical cable and then subsequently play music on the laptop; the MD always reports "No Signal". The lifebook has a connexant AC97 onboard sound card. For the life of me I dont know how to command this thing. Can anyone help me ?
