Can't adjust the volume...
My volume is very low on my computer. I can hear sound very faintly occasionally but most of the time I hear nothing. First I used the troubleshooter and there is no box to check for this problem, so I tried every option they provided. I have tried using the volume control to turn it up and that doesn't help. Tried the volume control buttons on the keyboard. Also have gone into the device manager and rolled back the drivers, still no results. Every things states that soundcard is working properly.
My speakers are in my monitor HP f70. I am using windows XP. The sound card is Realtec AC`97 I have also installed sound card update. Last edited by suzeeb; 09-30-2005 at 08:48 PM. Reason: added sound card updates |

If anyone saw my thread a little farther down, this is exactly my problem as well. It occured after my Windows update. Before I updated, I used a downloaded set of drivers, and they worked fine.
