help sound doesnt work

ok i have a sound card and a motherboard sound card. I just switched to a a7n8x motherboard but i have no drivers for this mobo. I have a cable for my sound card and its drivers but the cable was for the other mobo it doesnt fit this 1 any suggestions? Do i need a cable for the mobo sound? if so where can i get the cable?

if you are using a s/card the cable goes from the cd /dvd drive to the s/card
you don't need to connect to the m/b

i dont have the cable for the sound card to the cd drive. I have a cable for older versions but it doesnt fit on this mobo like others. I have no drivers downloaded for the a7n8x mobo. Can i have direct download on what drivers i need to download cuz there isnt a core download.

you can buy a sound cable at your local comp.store for about $1
click on you m/b listing here and it will bring up the drivers

also if your using the soundcard that is seperate ensure u turn the onboard one off in BIOS.
