No Sound or Audio Device

Hi all,

Now this little problem occoured when i decided (after many long hours of file transfers from my old PC to my new one) to play some music. However when i clicked play, and error message appeared telling me that no audio device was connected. So i went into Sound and Audio Devices properties and in front of my eyes it said that there was no audio device connected.
However...my set of Logitech X-530 5.1 speakers were connected in the back of my PC. I;m using the ASUS A8N-E motherboard which has support for up to an 8 channel surround sound. So why isn't it working?

Hi,

Did you remember to load the sound drivers when you loaded the chipset drives on the motherboard disk?
