Which Card for my Vaio
Hi
I have a sony vaio rs series desktop pc and am going to purchase some Altec lansing (2.1)THX speakers :) :) Obviously to obtain maximum benefit from these speakers i need at minimum a digital sound card and preferably a THX registered sound card, this much i do know. Creative labs produce several thx cards. HERE is the question... My Vaio has the std sony giga pocket system (tv tuner/dvd recording system) along with the many audio inputs on the front case ( ilink/svideo audio l/r etc). As i understand it my sound is generated via the mobo and therefore if i install a sound card will i lose the audio/options mentioned above?  Thanks topspeed007 |
