Headphones Work; Speakers Don't
I have the stock Karajan ALC850 AC'97 Audio card running on my PC, and it's connected to my case to a front panel audion connector. When I plug my headphones or speakers into the front they work fine, but when I unplug those, and unplug the connector from the card, itself, and Plug my 3 speaker plugs into the back, I get no sound.
A few notes... -I have tried the Realtek Audio driver and I have tried the Nvidia driver, both yeild the same, headphones okay, speakers no sound. -These speakers work on another conputer I have fine. -Speakers are Logitech X-530 70 Watts 5.1. EDIT: A few more notes... -Nvidia Driver is the one that came with NFref_653_WinXP2K_eng.zip from the DFI official site. -Realtek was AUD_RealTek A3751.exe from the DFI official site as well. -Realtek installation always had an error saying it was not compatible with WinXP. |
