Sound Card Info Whats yours?
Hi, I need to gather information on different soundcards for a development project.
If anyone with a soundcard running Windows could help me by posting it would be a great help. I have numbered the two specific bits of info I need just to help clarify. From the Control Panel select 'Sounds and Audio Devices' On the 'Audio' Tab find the 'Sound Recording' section. (1) Can you tell me the name of your 'Default device:' from the Drop down list. eg. In My case this is 'SoundMax Digital Audio' Now Click the 'Volume..' Button in the Sound recording section. A 'Recording Control' Window should appear. On the 'Options' Menu select 'Properties' In the 'Adjust Volume for' section make sure the 'Recording' radio button is selected. (2) At the bottom of this window is a list of volume controls and check boxes, can you provide me with the exact name of the volume controls for your system. eg. On my system this list is. CD Player Microphone Aux Line In Phone Mono Out Wave Out Mix This would be a great help and the more sound cards I get information on the better. |
