Audigy 2zs faceplate..

hey,i recently got fininshed building my new comp and tried out the new zs faceplate and cant get it to work.i pulled iut the little clear plastic thing on the remote and played music in media player and also tried a dvd movie, but nothing happened.does this thing only work if you have something hooked up to the front of it or something like headphones?any help would be appreciated.

Thank you guys, looks like a lovely bit of kit, but still bewildered.. I think perhaps Neo is being a little economical with his words, perhaps his is nearing the limit of his monthly download allowance and is trying to keep things in the black!

i meant the audigy front bay drive that usually comes with the platinum.ive got it hooked up and everything but cant get it to work with the remote

hang the face plate loose inside the comp and see if it works there was a post about it shorting out when putting it into a bay
