Dai is correct. If you have lost your motherboard driver disc then find the model of the motherboard (usually printed on the board in large letters often times close to the CPU/heat sink/fan) and google it with +drivers at the end (i.e. motherboard model number +drivers).
If you have a PCI/ISA card then pull the card and look for a manufacturer's name. Often times you will not find one, if you don't then look for any string of text and/or numbers and google that with +drivers. If you can't find any text/numbers on the board then look at the chips and google that. If your manufacturer's name IS printed on the board then google that or go to http://www.driverguide.com. You may need a username & password. The last time I visited there it was Username: 'drivers' Password: 'all' (remove the quotes). If they have changed it then registration WAS free. Hope this helps. -Lydokane- |
