Audigy 2 "squeal of death"
I've been getting the squeal of death constantly every since I upgraded my mother board to a "DFI NFII lanparty Ultra B", I have tried just about everything i think. but maybe i am overlooking something. I've tried every driver from creatives site, adjusting the pci latency, tried it in every PCI slot, checked and double check the irq's, disabled all uneeded devices on its pci bus, the onboard audio is disabled..... the card ran normal "meaning once in a blue moon squeal of death" in my old mobo* but now every time i play a game... it does it, sometimes right away, sometimes it takes a hour. any idea's on what to try out next? my complete system specs are below:
DFI Lanparty nfII ultra B bios-11/24/04 amd xp1800+ oc'd to 2018@175FSB *stable* 512 mushkin pc3200 ram ti4200 video card windows xp pro |
