Start-up sound problem

I have perfect sound on my computer. The only problem is that when i Shutdown/Start-up. I have no sound to hear the windows start-up/shutdown music. I dont know whats the prob?

Send a message via Yahoo to norin
this may be a simple fix

go into control panel > sounds and audio devices > click on sounds tab and find the Exit Windows and the Start Windows and make sure the appropriate sound is attached.

Oh, sorry, i ha vent been at this post in a while. I have multiple post all over the forum. Windows XP forum too, and they suggested the same thing except it didnt work and i have no idea wat may be the problem. Any other suggestions are welcome.

did you choose "window default" as your sound scheme? [on the bottom option] then click apply and ok?

Yea i tried that too. Didnt work though, do u think i need to move the files do a different location and then maybe try to set it to that location. Because maybe the folder in-accessible when i shutdown/start-up?
