Sound Problems
okay. Well, I have no sound. Checked connections, reinstalled drivers. Nada. My mobo sound drivers aren't even installed, xp doesn't even recognize its there, so theres probably nothing to do wiht that. The strange part is whenever I play video files, it goes very, very, slow. avi, mpeg, wmv, all slow slow slow. And when I bring up my music player, no sound, but it will still play (theres still no sound, but the song will keep going). Again, very slowly. Basically it'll go from 1st sec of the song to 2nd sec of the song in about 5 seconds. I have a sound blaster audigy 2 ZS. Any help would be welcome, as I'm pretty much out of ideas.
This might be linked to an earlier problem I had: Boot issues edit* I tried to test the voice recorder. nothing. However, I turned on my speakers (in a small hope) and I got a dull, constant pitch. Restarted, and it kept on going as soon as windows loaded. Not sure when it started, I've had my speakers off for about the last 36 hours as I didn't have a reason to turn them on.
