stereo mix problem

hey guys, i dont know whats wrong but for some reason my stereo mix doesnt work well due to which am not able to record in game sounds properly..

this is how it looks

before this i couldnt record any in game sounds at all.. whenever i wanted to change mixer options i used to get sndvol32.exe not found error then i read somewhere to copy sndvol32.exe from dllcache in system32 and paste it in system32 folder instead of dllcache folder in it.. which i did and was then able to access stereo mix option but as u can see from this picture i am not able to set the volume for some reason dont know why..

i have got latest drivers from realtek

my mobo is biostar ta790gxbe

i can record in game sounds now but it all sounds distorted in videos

I don't know that the volume is adjustable. In any case, I haven't used it to test it.
