X-Fi unit issues with Win 7
using Itunes I seem to have no isues but on some BUT NOT ALL videos tthe audio track is rumbling or muddy. I assume it is a codec but how can I tell which one(s) to load? It happens on various type too: FLV, MOV, MPG etc. Also using various viewers: MS MP and VLC for example.

Re: X-Fi unit issues with Win 7
You can use an app such as gSpot or Mediainfo to check a file that doesn't work to see which codecs are needed.

Re: X-Fi unit issues with Win 7
guys I feel bad for not writing that I fixed it. Believe it or not what I ended up doing was going into safe mode, uninstalling the driver and running the SB installer. Worked like a charm. Isn't Win 7 fun fun fun? NOT!
