Getting sound in HD? Help definitely needed...
When I have my computer running in Standard Definition, I have perfect sound that reacts 100% on time. When I run the computer in High Definition, I get no sound at all... I have a Realtek High Definition Audio sound card and an HD capable Video Card.
I seem to remember coming across information saying I needed an HD sound cord, but in light of trying to find this sound cord to see pricing I could not locate it. I'm basically just looking for any info regarding how to get HD working 100% on my computer, a basic list of things required or something like that would be nice. Thanks in advance!

Re: Getting sound in HD? Help definitely needed...
What do you mean by "HD" sound? There isn't a standard or format for audio referred to as "HD". Most motherboards and soundcards often list "HD" audio, but all they are referring to is 5.1 surround sound.
So I'd question your speaker setup, how it is connected, and what you are trying to do when it doesn't work.
