Line In Not Playing Back Anymore

Hello there, I've recently gotten a problem, that I don't really know how it happened.

I have an Xbox 360 with a VGA cable so I can play on my monitor and it splits with Red and White sound cables. It also came with this jack thing that you plug the Red and White cables in and you can listen to it with headphones or something.

So I use that and plug that into the Line In on the back of my computer, so then I play it through my computer, which sometimes doesn't give me the best sound quality but makes it so I don't have to constantly switch from sound on my computer to my Xbox with these speakers.

The speakers plug into the computer so its a hassle movement for me usually.

I moved my Xbox around and it finally got back to my desk and I plugged into the Line In and there is no sound, now I know its not the xbox because I manually plugged them into the speakers and it works fine, and playing music from my computer to the speakers work fine too.

I also have been looking over in the Sounds Speech and Audio Devices and trying to fix this problem.

Now I don't know how to exactly tell you what I have as for audio cards or something but, if some one tells me how all I can do is supply you with a couple screen shot of what I may think would be important to some one..

If anyone could help me with this, I would well, all I can do is thank you and offer you some kind of graphical image, banner, logo, something you would find interesting that I can offer you.

Re: Line In Not Playing Back Anymore

I don't know that you can adjust the input (ie: like the volume control on the output). So I'd question the cabling or possibly a bad input connector.
