Sigmatel HD Audio Codec

Hi, I came across this really annoying problem. Recently I reformated my C, installed XP SP3 Home Edition, installed most of the drivers and everything seems okay with them so far, but the problem is that there's no sound. I had the same problem with this machine long time ago when I just installed the OS last time, then it was the same, but I somehow fixed it, don't remember how tho.

Here's a screenshot of Device Manager:

Here's a screenshot of Everest to see my specs:

Please, I've been trying to fix this problem but with no luck. HELP!

Edit: Also tried installing lots of Sigmatel HD Audio Codecs, but there's still the yellow bar and no sound.

Re: Sigmatel HD Audio Codec

You need to install the correct audio drivers.

You can get them from the PC manufacturer (ie: Dell, HP, etc.) for commercial PC's. Or from the motherboard manufacturer for aftermarket PC's. Or the sound card manufacturer if you have an addon sound card.
