PC noise when playing music through stereo
Hi -
I hooked my laptop up to my stereo and used 3.5mmjack/RCA jack. The music sounds good. but there is a little hiss or distortion from the PC at times. When I hooked up to the stereo with this same method using just my iPod, there was no problem. Any suggestions? I have a Dell Studio 15 laptop and tried using both the standard sound card that came with it and I also purchased the external Creative X-Fi sound card. Both have a little noise to them and I think the upgrade external sound card is worse, but did enable me to line-in recording pretty well. I'm currently using Vista OS. |
