Headset, voice, sound, video
Ok, so I've been looking for the answer to this question for months now and can't get it fixed.
Basically I am trying to use a screen recorder to record sound and video whilst speaking through a headset. The problem is that I can only record the sound coming from either my computer or the headset. I've tried recording the sound and video using the screen recorder and then opening movie maker to "narrate the time line" while I simultaneously record the screen and sound but this doesn't work either. Any suggestions would be great. I don't know if the problem is that I am using the Xbox 360 headset, it works fine unless I try to do what I am describing. Basically, I am trying to do something like in this video: YouTube - Let's Play Pokémon Crystal - Part 107 Two sound tracks, one for voice and one for the sound coming from the computer along with the video. The guy in the video apparently does it by using movie maker to record his voice and CamStudio but this combination just doesn't seem to work for me. Thanks :) |

Re: Headset, voice, sound, video
I read another post recently concerning someone else that was doing the same thing. I think it was referred to as "stereo mixing", but I could be wrong. I think it basically boils down to having software which recognizes more than one audio source.
