Hello.
I upgraded to Windows SP3 few months ago and didn't notice that I can't record sound anymore. Recently I started recording game videos and found the recording program does NOT record sound. But it USED TO.I tried various programs for video recording until I found out that the problem isn't in the programs, its in the sound card.I checked the sound card options and saw that all the input volume control is grayed out. ![]() Then I checked the sound options in the control panel: ![]() Can't move the volume there too :| Help me..I've been trying to fix this for a week and starting to lose hope :/ p.s When I use fraps for recoring and my microphone is in the plug I can hear myself in the recorded video. o.O Last edited by Kaizeras; 10-24-2009 at 05:38 AM. |

Re: Stereo Mix grayed out. RealTek Sound Card
Try uninstalling and reinstalling the audio drivers. You could also try updating the drivers or going back to an older version.
