sound card and headphones + mic

Hej.

first. my english isnt the best.
and sorry my vista version is danish.

i dont know what settings should be with my sound card and windows.

Im having some problems with a few things, i have this constand pip/buzzing sound, very high picth and low sound level, i can only hear it when someone isnt talking on ventrilo or im not playing games etc, basicly now when im typing i can hear it.

i just plugged everything in i can hear sound = it works! well kinda works.

my mic is also really really bad making a pip and scratching, i have been told they are quite loud.

Sound card Asus Xonar D2X XDT A
Keyboard Roccat Valo
Mouse Roccat Kone
Headphones Roccat Kave

dunno if the last 3 cant work together they are all pretty new

Do you hear the same sounds when using your computer speakers? My first thought would be bad headphones/cabling.
