I recently had a severe virus infection so I decided to format it (My PC was damaged already anyway).
But now for some reason, the sound is dead. I looked into the Device Manager but it didn't show any device. I ran EVEREST and this is what I got: CHIPSET ------------------ North Bridge: SiS 645DX South Bridge: SiS 962 PCI / PnP Audio ------------------ C-Media CMI8738 Audio Chip (PCI) I hope anyone can give me a solution to this. Thanks in advance. Last edited by WickeTD; 10-19-2009 at 11:42 AM. |

Re: Sound died after format
Did you reinstall the sound card drivers?

Re: Sound died after format
I think this is the package you will need to install:
