nothing comming out of 'line-out' port
Hi,
I have onboard integrated sound chip using the infamous SiS7012 driver. But just as i mastered how to get this badboy running it just died on me when i put in extra RAM to fill all slots. long story short, the first ram slot is defective but works with a few issues here and there (i.e. bad checksum on boot, no post, crashes). That i can deal with but there is NO SOUND comming out of the speaker port! will buying a sound card fix this issue? p.s. it is the ram's fault due to the fact sound works when i empty ram slot. |

will a sound card work even tho i have defective ram/ram slot..... dun wanna throw my cash at it when its not gonna do anything. does anyone recommend bios flash? |
