Unwanted Noise Coming over Speakers
On my XP system I have an audio problem. Any audio coming over the speakers (mp3, streaming radio or video sound file, etc) has a "scratchy or staticky" noise that you can here in the background ONLY when there is a moving image or icon on the screen - whether that be the cursor or a video image. In order to listen to music without this noise; I have to minimize everything and not move the mouse at all. In fact, the more I move the mouse the worse the sound gets until the audio starts to actually drag like an old Sony Walkman with dead batteries. What could fix this? Some one said there must be a software conflict with the mouse or interference. But I checked and no conflicts were showing with the mouse. And I checked the speakers; they are not blown and the wires are fine also.

Re: Unwanted Noise Coming over Speakers
Bet it's a conflict with video card...
Maybe everytime you move something, the CPU lags down, so it makes a "scratch" in sound.. Tried installing a video card? (if yours is integrated) or using a different one? |
