E-Mu 1212m and Soundmax help.

Hey Ive never really gotten into sound cards and now I'd need a little help.
I have a ASUS Crosshair mobo, which comes with an included soundmax sound card.
My brother had a E-Mu 1212m and gave it to me because I play guitar, and it'd be nice to record some stuff.
Anyway, I've now correctly installed it etc. But theres one problem.
The 1212m doesn't have any 3.5mm ins or outs, their all 1/4" (like my guitar cable), and thats why I'd need the sound to come out of my soundmax sound card instead of the 1212m.

Thats where I need help, I can atm properly listen to music and everything, just anything I plug into the 1212m wont come out from the soundmax sound card.

Edit: I believe this is the right place but no matter which "send" thing I add to that particular channel I cant hear any sound.
