Sound on cumputer stopped working?

Hey guys! (sorry for my bad english, im from Sweden)

I went on holiday and when i came back i tryed to play counter stike but the sound didnt worked. I also tryed to go on youtube but the sound didnt work there also. I also dont hear sound when i start/shutdown my computer...

Then i opend fruity loops studio 8 (music creating program) and tryed to play my songs, but the sound worked?

When i try to play a test sound in the sound map in the controlcenter it said "it didnt worked to play the testtune"

I think the sound dont work because of that i used a registry cleaner before the holiday.

Maybe try a system restore from a date before your Holiday..Also you can try reinstalling the drivers for the soundcard..
