Audigy 2 ZS - No line-ins available
For those of you that own an Audigy, I might need your help on this one.
I recently installed it on my new computer and initially had trouble getting power to the external box but that was just because I hadn't hooked it up right. So now I have power. However, if you have a look at the attached picture you will notice that for some strange reason none of the line-ins are available. They are just simply not there and there aren't even any drop downs. Also, next to "Audigy 2 ZS" it says "[FF40]". It never used to say that on the last computer i know that one of the options were [A000]. After a bit of looking around I discovered that this number has to do with the "Input/Output range" in device manager. I'm not game enough to play around with the numbers and there must be a reason why it has set it to this by itself. Has this happened to anybody else? I am currently downloading the latest drivers but i just thought I would post this thread in the event that somebody will say right away that updating the drivers is going to do nothing for it. Please help if you can, A frustrated muso. Last edited by meneedit; 08-13-2009 at 08:06 AM. |
