[SOLVED] deleted sound card software

about 1 and 1/2 years ago i was deleting 'rarely' used programs on my computer, consequently, i deleted the sound card software and have had no volume since.

i have used an 'unknown driver detective' and it found nothing.
i have also had a look inside my computer but it seems the soundcard is built into the motherboard.
basically, i cant find the make/name of my soundcard. i also need the software again, preferably a free download lol.

my computer model is: Acer Aspire t180-i97z

please help, i cant bear having no volume for much longer :/

Re: deleted sound card software

Hello,

Download the Driver from the Acer support site.

http://us.acer.com/acer/service.do?L...CRC=2054404012

Just choose the model of your system and choose the OS version.

Once you download the file > extract the files > once the files are extracted run the setup

file.
