Audio recording

i might be a noob but please help me

what do i actually need to record audio out of my pc (i mean any audio playing in the background of my pc any click sound anything)

i remember using mediasource before and it was working perfectly before but not anymore ??

help please and i use vista 32bit btw

You could take a standard 3.5mm two-way male speaker jack, plug one end into the speaker port of your computer and the other into the line-in or mic port, then record it with a program like Audacity.

why?? that isnt there another way ? i am sure i used to do it normally before without using any of these stuff

You just need to have a recording program record from your sound card and it will catch anything your playing to your speakers.

Get a capture program, such as CamStudio. Then go ahead.
