Ventrilo Talking Help Problems
For some reason people can hear my game noises through my mic when my speakers aren't on. If you refer to my other post you can get a more detailed explanation. However now, I realized that this is a sound card and/or settings problem as I have seen other people ask the same question as myself and found these various possible solutions.
1) "you might have the Line In enabled on your mic output on your sound card. go to your sound settings and disable/uncheck features until it stops" 2) "In your line? in or something similar setup volumes check the box at Stereo-mix." 3) "i figured out it was the stereo mix for my msi sound adjuster was on, i have an onboard sound card." My sound card is onboard as well, and I was wondering if someone could put these solutions in more layman terms so a newbie can follow those instructions? Thank you.

Re: Ventrilo Talking Help Problems
[RESOLVED]
As for my onboard sound card what I did was go to the computer's audio option and disable the stereo mix. Specifically it was right here. Control Panel>Sound, Audio Settings>Properties>Line in/Mic in>Mute Stereo Mix.

It would also be very appreciated if you would mark the thread solved from the thread tools menu. This helps distinguish threads that are completed from threads that still need assistance.
