My sound is gone but not completely
Hi everyone!!
![]() I have a minor but major issue with my computer. I use linux and I'm quite happy with it except this. One day I went on the computer and there was a X beside the speaker symbol. I didnt pay any attention to it until I realized I couldn't play any music. I tried right clicking and using volume control but when ever I did a pop up saying "No volume control GStreamer plugins and/or devices found". I have no idea what that means. ![]() See the thing is when I log in the sound works. It plays that welcoming drum tune but when I'm on my account there is no sound at all. ![]() Please help me as soon as possible. much appreciated!! |

Re: My sound is gone but not completely
You will have to state the sound card in the computer and what distribution of Linux you are using before assistance can be provided.
