Sound Issue
I suppose its not related to the soundcard, but...
I have a USB SteelSeries 5Hv2, and out of the USB is a green + pink. My audio cut off on my steelseries headset, so I have pink going in and my monitors stereo going in. Now, my mic is fine, (Ventrilo) but when I enter almost all games, when I speak while its running my mic apparently sounds like crap but when I test I cant notice. I checked audio options, voice chat and mic is disabled ingame and the only other settings are the volume. :( Maybe its, not appearing in options, but is changing my audio. For instance, in World of Warcraft, the audio changes ingame, and once I exit the audio improves. If there is a program or way to override a program fiddling with my audio that might help. |

Re: Sound Issue
All peoples voices are distorted by some degree when speaking into a microphone. If your computer does not have enough processing power or bandwidth to do the recording while playing the game the quality of the recording would suffer.
