Realtek HD
With some programs, my sound cracks and gets really fuzzy and distorted and i almost have to turn off my sound. I've tried a bunch of different drivers, but nothing cures the problem. I even formatted. Is it just my soundcard? I have a built in Realtek HD.. Does anyone else have this problem?

Re: Realtek HD
Integrated sound cards have these issues very often. The most commonly effected are Realtek AC'97 and Realtek HD integrated sound cards. If you want to avoid these issues you just need to get a dedicated sound card that is not based on a Realtek chip set. This issue mostly occurs because of heavy integration and/or Realtek chip sets.

Re: Realtek HD
If you could open the case and take a picture of the PCI slots then we could tell you for sure. One card however should fit only one slot. The only exception is some graphics cards that require a second slot for cooling. Very few motherboards have less than 3 connectors however and most have 6 so there should not be a problem. There is a slim chance that a sound card would not fit in.
