Headphones issues after new soundcard
Ive just installed a creative labs audigy sound card and all is working fine. However im having a slight issues with my headphones now.
After installing the soundcard and before booting up i disabled the onboard sound because im fairly sure having both would be a crash magnet. The problem is that i often use my headphones and mic while playing wow late at night. Unfortunately the headphone sockets( mic and sound) on the front of my pc no longer work. So the only option i have is to go to the back of the base unit - disconnect my speakers and then install my headphones / mic, which is not practicle. Is there any way of getting the front part of my pc working - or should i risk enabling onboard sound too. Or finally can I buy an extension lead for my speakers and for my mic? Thanks in advance.
