Missing volume controls

Hello all.

First time poster so I apolagise if it's in the wrong section.

I'm running an Acer Aspire 5720 which i believe has the Realtek HD onboard sound.
The problem i'm having is when i'm broadcasting myself over webcam, i want to be able to brocadcast my music and my voice. I know this is done through "Stereo Mix" which isn't a problem as i have selected that and all is fine.
The problem is trying to get my voice through the microphone at the same time.

I believe the fix for the problem is by going to playback devices, then properties and then levels. What I don't understand is why the only levels I have in there are "Realtek HD Audio Output" & "PC Beep".

I have no desire to do any sort of recording. All I want to be able to do is broadcast my music and voice through stereo mix and can only do one or the other.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Regards
