Can`t install Audio Driver. I/O operation has been aborted.....

Hello, computer people and experts.

I have a problem when i try to install my audio driver from my creative SB Player.

I go to device manager, click on the multimedia audio controller (wich has a yellow (!) on it, and try to install the driver directly from a specified folder (the driver folder on my computer).

The problem is when installing the driver i can`t reach further then when it hits the "ksuser.dll" file. Every time the same.
Then i get this message:

"The I/O operation has been aborted because of either a thread exit or an application request"

What does this mean???

I have tried to uninstall and install the audio driver so many times i can`t count. I have searched with my Norton 360 and removed any risk of any form, and spybot and ad-aware is also been runned.

Has anyone else had these problems?

Re: Can`t install Audio Driver. I/O operation has been aborted.....

I have fixed the problem. The driver got installed by repairing the windows catalog, and there was actually a virus installed somewhere there the norton 360 did not find.
