Hi-fi? Monitors? Surround ?
Basically i'm looking to get some new speakers- i've got a set of Logitech X-530 which i think are 70watt total, which are alwful and in need of an update.
i dont mix, edit music or anything to do with djing... however i want the loudest speakers i can get, which i know sounds childish but i like my music :).. unfortunately i have a budget of only < £200. origionally i was looking at active monitors but then after speaking with a friend he advised there would be no point in spending less than 200 on a pair as they would be poor quality. same goes for passive really... i really dont want another set of surround pc speakers as i think most brands worry too much on what they look like instead of getting the sound quality right. they think that throwing in a sub will disguise the poor high frequency quality. anyway i've come to the conclusion (correct me if im wrong) that hi fi speakers linked upto my desktop would be the best option... has anyone got any suggestions on what ones to get... what to stay clear of and how im going to link to my pc. thanks for any help jack |

I bought these guys a couple months ago, and ho-ly-sh*t. When i turn them all the way up, there is no distortion at all. They are very punch and crisp. And suuuper loud. Most of the reviews were good for these, and the bad ones were just faulty products, so i tried them out and i am very pleased. Definitely recommend these beasts. |
