input problem
hi there,
i have 2 microphones, which have both worked previously on my computer. recently i reformatted my HDD and re-installed win xp home, from the manufactures disk(which is a ghost file). Everything has been working fine, and i got around to re installing online games and ventrillo. there is nothing installed on my computer besides what was on the install disk, firefox, world of warcraft, and ventrillo. now i cant seem to get either microphone to work. with the headset/mic i can hear sound in the headset, but there is no sound being picked up. ive tried looking through all the settings, making sure mic was un muted and etc. no sound its being picked up on the sound recorder. the audio is nvidia nforce, and i have also tried to update the nforce drivers. also its intergrated audio, and a emachines t3256 any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, i feel like i have to be over looking somthing, as both mic's were working last week before the re-format. thanks in advace -hawke |
