ASUSTek SAA7134, Hybrid Capture Device, that I believe to be a non working driver assignated to PCI Slot 1 (PCI bus 1, device 4, function 0). Btw I don’t have any external audio/sound board, Im only using the one onboard. I would like to get rid of this device but overtime I uninstall it with Device Manager It reappears after rebooting, like if Windows need it to use audio (I guess). that is a tv tuner card which your pc is saying its in slot 1, remove it from pc then it wont want to install itself.

Re: Help no sound since IDK
It worked, the card has been removed. ASUSTek driver doesn't install itself automatically after each reboot. Then what do I do ?
PS: I still have IDT HDMI that ask to install itself within starting as a New Found Wizard pop-up ! and Audio Device on HD Audio Bus is still (!) in devmngr |

Re: Help no sound since IDK
It did not work.
It stopped because it needed a system file named stwrt.sys. When I found it in an the IDT driver folder the one I download two steps earlier. But it was in the vista folder. Then the screen showed an error code saying that this hardware had not passed windows logo test (attached screen pic) |

Re: Help no sound since IDK
On the IDT jack monitoring window it appears that both front jacks are used. But in reality they are not !
Do you think there may be a conflict between front and back audio jacks ?? I have in front Input, Output and Mice in the back : Output and Mice but those have nt been working (bad quality sound ) |

Re: Help no sound since IDK
Yes but I tried it on but I was not fitting in any of my PCIs or PCIEs !!
Then I disconnected the front panel's audio jacks form the motherboard and IDT Jack Monitoring still recognize them as working jacks with headphones and mice plugged in. I don't have any headphone or mic plugged in in front. Inb the back I hve speakers on outputt and a mic on the mic jack. |

Re: Help no sound since IDK
Yes go ahead and accept it, say yes to it to install, most drivers will throw that
warning box that it did not pass the test. We are almost there Thomgood2606!
