no sound card installed
My friend was cleaning up my hard drive by deleting some unwanted programs, and my sound hasn't worked since then. I am showing no device in the control panel. I am using windows XP.

remove the card and then put it back in making sure it is seated

check it is enabled in the bios

run the drivers from the m/b setup disk
