Yet another no sound after re-install

Hey guys,

For the record i have read through the other posts regarding this issue.

Ok, so i've format re-installed my PC (im not new at this)
I loaded the drivers from the mobo CD including audio as its integrated and surprise surpirse NO SOUND

PC specs at bottom***

Checked device manager - no yellow exclamation marks
All multimedia codecs are listed
Show hidden devices revealed an unknown PCI device under network client with an exclamation mark

Checked add/remove: Realtek HD audio driver is listed
Checked sound properties in control panel: it also claims no audio devices are present

Visited Gibayte.com.au and went through download center
It confirmed i had the driver installed, so i removed the file and installed it from the website
The website advised i needed MS UAA driver
So i found a copy and installed it
Device manager shows no UAA driver
Add/remove and regedit has KB88811 listed
tried installing audio driver from site anyway - same message (need UAA)

Then downloaded 'motherboard_driver_audio_realtek_azalia' from Gigabyte which has recent copy of both files
So i unistalled driver and removed first copy of KB888111 through regedit
Installed the new azalia copy
and guess what - NO CHANGE

So now im asking you guys for the next step

Other info:

-Checked sys info and DXDIAG both say no sound device is present

-when removing HD driver from add/remove it claims it cannot be removed yet it does anyway

-Windows update is... up to date
