[SOLVED] No sound on my DG41TY mobo

I have an Intel DG41TY mobo,
I installed a TV tuner card on it,just when I installed the TV tuner card drivers on my PC,since then the sound is gone.

For that I uninstalled TV card and all its drivers uninstalled Realtek onboard audio drivers and installed a updated audio driver, but, the problem persists and I haven't installed the TV card yet.

How can I bring my mobo's sound back??

And yeah I have checked all the playback setting they are all correct.

Re: No sound on my DG41TY mobo

Hello and Welcome to TSF,

Go here for the audio driver:
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/filt...4&submit=Go%21

Uninstall all or any audio drivers from add/remove in control panel, also
go into program files and look for any audio folders there too, that may need to be deleted.

reboot pc, if a new found hardware box comes up, cancel it out.
install audio driver
reboot pc

Note: When installing a tv tuner card, you need to have:

.Net Framework 2.0 or higher installed
Video card 256MB or higher (separate from M/B)
Sound Card
CPU 1.5GB or higher
512MB ram or higher

Re: No sound on my DG41TY mobo

The problem is solved, and I come to the result that the onboard audio had some issue.
So, I bought one sound blaster and now my PC is working fine even with the TV tuner card plugged in.

In short,Intel motherboards are useless.
