Output Level ???
Background
I've writen a prorgram in LabView that output's specific pulses from the sound-card of any PC. Since we will be running this on several PC's, and we need to know the output within a dBV (or so)...We don't need "lab" quality level controls, but it does have to be close. Question Is there an industry standard in the output level of the "standard sound card" |

Re: Output Level ???
This topic is a bit beyond me but I did come up with this article: http://www.silentpcreview.com/article913-page6.html
Seems like it might have enough info on it that you could make some educated guesses. There was also this for a Creative card: http://a-tech.net/SoundCards/CT4811.htm And this from Tom's, that at the bottom looks like it gives some consumer standards for audio cards. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/creative,913-6.html Hope that helps.
