No line in on conexant high def smart audio 221 on my hp dv9000. Which is fine if im using a mic but from my turn tables it records distorted im good with pc's i tried everything what can i do plz help. I tried turnin off mic boost, enhancments etc.

You will have a much better user experience if you get a usb sound card for your laptop.
Something like this: http://www.zzounds.com/item--BEHUCA202 There are better ones for a lot more money, but that one is pretty good for $30. Pauldo |
