scratchy sound from my bnew cmi8738 sound card.
i got this problem i dont know how to make it right. my sound card is bnew, the front sound is fine but the sound from the subwoofer is so scratchy that it destroys the sound and also the sound from rear speaker is so intolerably scratchy.
my setup: winXP sp3, intelblkdr31 mobo, 3 gb kingston, 6ch cmedia8738 sound card. |

Are you still looking?
It does sound like it is a problem with the sound card. Have you tried removing it and placing it in another pci slot. Make sure to uninstall all drivers and re-install if you are able to do that. Pauldo |
