Everything is ok but no sound

I recently installed windows vista ultimate and noticed that it had no support for my soundblaster card. decided to use integrated soundcard. After installing all the drivers, enabling audio in bios theres still no sound.
in Device manager i see the card as installed with no error. Even in the volume control i see the green bar moving up and down but theres no sound.

the card is " Realtek ALC655 " and motherboard is " ECS C51GM-M ".

Does anyone have an idea how to help me?

(sorry this is my 1st thread here, sorry if i did something wrong)

Re: Everything is ok but no sound

Hello Matka89, in your device manager can you uninstall your sound card and reboot installing the drivers again and see if that has helped and post back results.

Re: Everything is ok but no sound

Did it, and also it didnt work. I suspect that the ports ( the green hole where you insert the speakers ) isnt working properly. i tried using other ports for output, but didnt work either

Re: Everything is ok but no sound

what soundblaster card do you have?

For your integrated audio, if you see the green bars moving up and down is there a green check mark next to Realtek?

Have you double checked your levels and made sure you are not muted?
