Music playing out of my headset

Hello I just bought a Premium usb headset from Gigaware and I love the way the sounds are. However like I always do when I buy a headset I checked how the mic sound was. I found that the my voice was very clear and could be adjusted for loudness. However I did come to a problem. My my headset is usb and no matter what i do people can hear my background sounds while my mic is plugged in. The sound can be very far away and my headset will still pick it up. It seems to be very sensative or something. Also when I play music the music comes out through the mic for some reason.

Keep in mind that i have all my other speakers disabled and all my other recording devices disabled as well. That is including the stero mix which has fixed this problem for some people, but not for me. It has become a big issue since I use vent and I play wow and raid every week. So people are getting annoyed at me when this happens please help me fix this issue
