Teamspeak and TF2 = Static

I've been having this problem with using Teamspeak and Team fortress 2 at the same time.

Basically, if i connect to TS, then join tf2, my mic in TF2 spams heavy static.
or if i do the reverse, TS spams the static.(bad if its on auto-pickup, people scream in pain.)

I'm running a SB Live! 24-bit

also
Screaming Bee. (Voice modifier)
Logitech cam (inbuilt mic)

but i don't use the mic on the Cam, and the problem has existed for longer.

Re: Teamspeak and TF2 = Static

Don't have any experience with Teamspeak.

They do have support forums, have you checked those out?

Re: Teamspeak and TF2 = Static

its like this, I'll run TS, then I'll run steam. I'll test my mic in the settings for steam, and get static. But the moment i close TS the static stops
its the same the other way around, i figure that for some reason, my sound card can't deal with two channels of Mic audio input.

I'll Check the TS forums.

Re: Teamspeak and TF2 = Static

My friend fixed it for me, told me that you need to switch TS to wave, instead of directSound.

Problem Solvered.
